COMPANY COMMUNITY MISSION
The Nordson Corporation Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life in our communities by improving educational outcomes that enable individuals to become self-sufficient, active participants in the community. The mission of the Employee Volunteer Program, Time ‘n Talent, is to encourage volunteerism by providing all employees, retirees and their families’ opportunities to plan and participate in organized volunteer activities which address needs in our communities.
OVERVIEW OF EMPLOYEE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
The tradition of corporate giving is reflected in Nordson’s multi-faceted contributions program, including: The Nordson Corporation Foundation; the employee Time ‘n Talent volunteer program; the Matching Gifts Program that matches employee and retiree donations to nonprofit organizations and schools; the annual United Way Campaign where the company matches donations from employees and retirees; and numerous in-kind donations including contributions of equipment to Universities for educational purposes.
WHY OUR COMPANY VOLUNTEERS
Nordson employees are proud to share their time and talents with the community. Nordson’s volunteer program, Time ‘n Talent, was built on the Nordson tradition of giving back to the community. Through this program, employee leadership committees organize volunteer projects and recruit coworkers, retirees, friends and family members to volunteer on a project-by-project basis.

All children have access to and receive quality educational experiences from early childhood
-
All individuals have the opportunity to be self-sufficient members of society
-
There is a continuum of quality educational opportunities
-
Our communities are strengthened by the organizations we fund whether their focus is education, human welfare, civic or arts and culture
