COMPANY COMMUNITY MISSION

To contribute to the well-being and prosperity of the people, communities and environment within our distribution area.

OVERVIEW OF EMPLOYEE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

We have crafted an in-house volunteer program that facilitates the blending of departments to function as a teambuilding exercise as well. These Team Builds are offered quarterly when our entire team, including our representatives from our broader serving area, return to Fort Collins. We have painted the inside of The Mission, built trails with Wildlands Restoration Volunteers, done fire mitigation with Poudre Wilderness Volunteers and worked on a build with Habitat for Humanity to name a few. 2015 will be our 5th year of this program and we look forward with our growing staff to make an even greater impact!

We also engage our friends and fans to join us in our volunteer efforts through “Odell Outreach.” You can find more about this program on our Odell Outreach Facebook page. We have a unique opportunity to share our love of our community with the folks that love us, do some good together and celebrate with a beer afterward. Cheers!

WHY OUR COMPANY VOLUNTEERS

We know that our dollars make a difference, but nothing invests our co-workers or celebrates that spirit like putting sweat equity back into where we live!

BIGGEST VOLUNTEER ACCOMPLISHMENT IN 2014

35 of us spent the day in Glen Haven doing flood mitigation following the floods in the Big Thompson Canyon. We worked diligently alongside WRV and a group of Natural Resources students from CSU. Our crew worked so hard that they extended the scope of our project and we STILL ended the day 30 minutes early! That’s team work!

WHERE WE HELPED IN 2014

We host events in our tap room after hours throughout the year; a few of the fundraisers in 2014 were:

  • The Growing Project Cupcake Cook Off

  • The FoCo Café “Ramping UP”

  • Business Cares “Make A Difference Day Kick Off”

  • Food Bank for Larimer County “Silver Linings Soiree”

  • Rocky Mountain Flycasters (Trout Unlimited) “DAMnation film premier”

We supported some incredible organizations with our beer at some spectacular events (including but not limited to):

  • Partners Mentoring Youth “Sharin O the Green”

  • Schrader Oil Grand Prix benefitting Junior Achievement

  • Food Bank for Larimer County “Taste”

  • FoCo Café Bike-In Music Festival

  • Bohemian Nights at New West Fest benefitting Kiwanis

  • Rotary Peach Festival

We give thousands of dollars in small grants and merchandise throughout the year.

We hosted 2 charities per month in our tap room that received exposure to our guests and a $1,250 donation. Charitable organizations also received tips left by our guests ranging from $2,100 to $3,700.

NEWS OF NOTE
